Emergency Veterinarian


Philadelphia Animal Specialty and Emergency (PASE) is seeking driven emergency doctors to join our energetic and knowledgeable team! We are looking for doctors that are internship-trained or have at least 2 years of experience in emergency medicine. We seek individuals that would fit in well with our team and who enjoy a collaborative and fast-paced environment and that practice a high level of medicine. We offer a mentorship program to new grads/clinicians looking to transfer to ER so we expect our ER doctors to be comfortable with teaching others (although this is not the main focus of the job).

Veterinary Technician - Emergency and Critical Care Swing Shift

Veterinary Critical Care Coordinator



Philadelphia Animal Specialty and Emergency is hiring a Critical Care Coordinator!

Our Critical Care Coordinators are knowledgeable Veterinary Technicians or Assistants with a passion and skill set in client communication. In this role, you will represent our hospitalized pets' care team by communicating with owners, providing updates, answer questions about care plans, and follow up on the happy pets we send home! You will also work one on one with the ICU nurses to advance your clinical skill set!

PASE relies on Critical Care Coordinators to:

  • Improve communications between hospital and clients.
  • Serve as first and last point of communication from hospital staff involved in patient care.
  • Improve follow-up on inpatients and identify questions/facilitate responses.
  • Assist with day-to-day inpatient flow/organization.
  • Improve technical skills by working with inpatient ICU/NCU nurse.

You must be knowledgeable in veterinary disease processes, medications and their effects, and treatment options. This is a fantastic position for technicians and assistants looking to learn more about advanced care in a specialty and emergency environment.

Shifts needed: This role will require working 3 x 12 hour shifts or 4 x 10 hours shifts that include one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).

A PASE Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) Technician will work with veterinary assistants, veterinary technicians, veterinarians, and board-certified veterinary criticalists to provide exceptional care for small animal patients undergoing emergency care and hospitalization within a multidisciplinary specialty hospital.


  • We have two part-time openings. Availability is needed for Wednesday from 7pm to 7am and mid-shift Wednesday to Saturday.
  • PASE pays a shift differential of $2-$5/hr between the hours of 8pm to 7am.

A PASE ECC Veterinary Assistant will work with other veterinary assistants, veterinary technicians, veterinarians, and board-certified veterinary criticalists to provide exceptional care for small animal patients undergoing emergency care and hospitalization within a multidisciplinary specialty hospital.

This position is for Wednesday to Friday overnight. PASE pays a shift differential of $2-$5/hr between the hours of 8pm to 7am.
