Emergency & Critical Care Technician
Introducing Sara, a native of Bucks County who has always had a deep passion for animals since a young age. Growing up with dogs at home, she discovered her natural instinct for rescuing abandoned animals. Initially considering a career in teaching, Sara soon realized her calling lay in the field of biology and science, leading her on the path to becoming a veterinary technician.
Sara's journey began at a general veterinary practice, where she started as a client service representative. Recognizing her potential, the team quickly started hands-on technician training. Eager to advance her skills, Sara joined the emergency and critical care team at PASE, discovering a newfound passion for critical care patients. Sara is currently in her final year of the Veterinary Technician Program at Manor College to earn her CVT and continue advancing her career in veterinary medicine.
One of Sara's greatest joys in veterinary medicine is witnessing the transformation of sick pets into healthy, happy animals through a combination of medical knowledge and compassionate care, reuniting them with their families. Outside of work, Sara enjoys being outdoors with friends and family partaking in activities such as wakeboarding, snowboarding, and riding motorcycles.
At home, she cares for Bubbas, an 8-year-old beagle pup she rescued from her first veterinary job, who had a rough start at life. Sara rehabilitated Bubbas, teaching him to trust people and animals again, due to the love he now receives. In addition to Bubbas, Sara recently rescued two kittens named Cannoli and Biscotti, brought to PASE by kind-hearted individuals. These rescue missions not only reflect Sara's dedication to animal welfare but also her unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable animals.
