Emergency Doctor
Dr. Elizabeth (Lizzy) Snyder is originally from a suburb of New York City. She earned her undergraduate degree in English at Villanova University. Prior to pursuing veterinary medicine, Lizzy worked at a media agency in New York City after college. After adopting her first cat, Lizzy’s love for animals and people led her to the veterinary field where she found her passion. Lizzy completed her veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 2021 and was awarded the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Small Animal Certificate of Clinical Excellence. Following veterinary school, she remained at Penn Vet to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery.
Lizzy loves the case variety and challenge of emergency medicine, with a particular interest in endocrine and urinary emergencies.
Outside of work, Lizzy enjoys spending time with her partner and their cats, practicing hot yoga, and skiing with her two brothers.
