Surgery Technician
Dana has worked in vetmed since 2012. When she was 4 she knew she wanted to take care of animals and be a veterinarian. At some point Dana changed her career path to veterinary technician when she realized she just wanted to care for animals and found that being more hands on with her patient's daily care, comfort, wellness, and happiness is where her passion really lies. Dana is a Manor College alumnus, where she developed her knowledge in veterinary medicine and got her credentials from. In 2018 Dana wanted to challenge herself and start working in the emergency department and surgery department. This is when she realized she has a passion for taking care of sick patients and assisting the patients and families during the healing process. In the future Dana plans on specializing in pain management and rehabilitation.
Outside of work Dana has a larger family, one daughter Brynne whose 9, and two sons Elijah and Mitchell 3 &5. She also has 3 cats, Ovechkin, Jethro, & new baby Anakin, & one Golden retriever named Beckett. Dana loves anything to do with art and nature. She also enjoys drawing in her free time and craft making anything Disney and dog bandanas.
