Surgery Assistant
An aspiring professional in the veterinary medicine field, Ann has been interested in pursuing a career in the industry since she was young. Raised in New Jersey, Ann attended Burlington County Institute of Technology (Westampton) where she gained three years of educational experience taking vet technician training classes. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Philadelphia were she participated in a 6-month internship program with the Hand2Paw Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe and supportive work environment for youth who are experiencing housing insecurity or foster care involvement, as a means of enhancing resilience, compassion, and connection with people, animals and the community of Philadelphia. Following this impactful experience, she participated in a short-term internship with Washington Avenue Animal Hospital. She officially joined the PASE team in June 2021 as a Veterinary Assistant and enjoys the fast-paced, education-focused environment.
Outside of her time at PASE, Ann can be found spending time with her cats (Speed Bump, Bonnie, and Xaviar) and turtle or creating lifestyle content for her budding YouTube channel. She enjoys creating and sharing content about her experiences in the veterinary medicine field, her journey growing up, and her passion for self-care practices. In fact, at PASE, she is known for her ever-changing hairstyles!
She is also a student at the Community College of Philadelphia and aspires to attend vet school in the future. Ultimately, her long-term goal is to become a veterinarian with a focus on surgery.
