Shannon Strause

Emergency & Critical Care Technician

Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, Shannon developed a deep love for animals from an early age, following in the footsteps of her mother and never living in a home without a dog. Her passion led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine six years ago as a veterinary technician at a general practice where she specialized in providing high quality care during appointments and surgical procedures.

Shannon is extremely grateful for all the experience and knowledge she gained from her previous clinic and is now very excited to start a new journey in Emergency and Critical Care at PASE.

Outside of work, Shannon cherishes time spent with her family, friends, and partner, as well as her 7 year old pitbull, Jinx. Shannon also loves to unwind with reality TV and a good concert. She is a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, lounging on the beach, helping tend to her father's garden, and experimenting in the kitchen.
