Setting the PASE in specialty & emergency care throughout Philadelphia and beyond.

Philadelphia Animal Specialty & Emergency (PASE) is Philadelphia’s newest privately-owned veterinary hospital and WE ARE OPEN! We are thrilled to be serving you and your family. PASE also has critical care specialists onsite and available seven days a week.

Located in South Philadelphia, you can find us at 2100 Washington Ave!

Our goal at PASE is simple: we strive to advance veterinary medicine by providing unparalleled emergency and specialty healthcare for patients and their families with an emphasis on teamwork, service, diversity, respect, and expertise. As a family-owned practice, we recognize the simple fact that our pets are simply a four-legged extension of our families and treat our patients as such.

OUR CORE VALUES:

  • A patient-focused, individualized approach to comprehensive veterinary care.

  • Offering compassionate care for all patients, with respect for their family’s socioeconomic status, race and ethnicity, sexuality, disability, and gender identity.

  • Provide families with an understanding of their pet’s health by involving them as an integral part of their animal’s healthcare team.

  • Foster mutual respect and trust between families and their veterinary healthcare team.

  • Commit to the underserved by developing relationships with our shelter and rescue community.

  • Building a work environment where each person is valued, respected and has an opportunity for personal and professional growth.

  • Advancing veterinary medicine with progressive and collaborative doctors, nurses, and supporting veterinary care professionals.

  • Represent the community we serve, as an open and supportive environment and maintain a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in our hiring practices.

  • Prioritize education, which will allow us to provide exceptional care to patients and their families for years to come.

  • Address the unique mental health challenges in the veterinary field by creating an environment where the well-being of our staff is paramount.
